They hold a Curacao gambling license and established themselves in 2018. We think that CoinPoker are a very safe choice and will be highlighting their various credentials, throughout this review.

CoinPoker Review of Welcome Bonus

While some betting sites have a number of welcome bonuses to choose from, there is just the one at CoinPoker.

We’re going to take an in-depth look at how it works, complete with that important information regarding the CoinPoker promo code.

  • CoinPoker Crypto Bonus: 150% Deposit Bonus up to $2,000
  • Promo Code: TECHO
  • Min Deposit: $10
  • Rollover: 2x in rake and fees
  • Expiration: 30 days

When you sign up for an account at CoinPoker, they will give you a 150% bonus on your first deposit, up to an upper limit of $2,000.

To earn the full bonus, you must generate twice the amount of your initial deposit. Only the rake from cash tables and tournament buy-ins count towards the rollover, with the CoinPoker rake set at 5% for cash games.

The bonus is released in 10% increments. You have 30 days to complete the wagering requirements after you have registered and entered your CoinPoker referral code.

We like the fact that the minimum level of deposit is set very low at just $10. It opens up the offer to players of all levels, whether you want to invest just a small amount, or go for the full bonus of $2,000.

Other CoinPoker Promotions

While conducting our CoinPoker review we found a number of promotions aimed at existing players. Let’s take a look at what’s available.

Hold’em Daily Leaderboard

There is $1,000 in cash prizes to be won every day with the Hold’em Daily Leaderboard. Your performance in Hold’em cash games will earn you points, which sees you ranked on a leaderboard.

The top 15 players on the leaderboard receive a prize, ranging from $250 in prize money for the winner to $10 for the 15th ranked competitor.

Omaha Daily Leaderboard

If playing Omaha cash tables is more your thing than Hold’em, then this daily offer is the one for you.

It works in exactly the same was as the Hold’em promotion. There’s $1,000 given away daily, to the 15 top ranked Omaha players.

Daily Cosmic Spins Leaderboard

Another of the poker promotions is a daily leaderboard for CoinPoker’s Cosmic Spins game. This one has a daily prize fund of $500.

There are two leaderboards with this promotion. One is for points earned in low stakes games and the other is for your ranking in games with higher stakes.

Monthly Tournament Leaderboard

Anyone playing in a tournament at CoinPoker has a chance to win a share of $15,000, every single month. You earn points based on buy-ins, the number of participants in the tournament and where you place.

Those points create a ranking and the top 150 ranked players get prizes. This ranges from $1,000 in cash for the winner, right down to $5 for the player in 150th position.

Rakeback Every Week

As mentioned earlier in our CoinPoker review, they take rake for cash games and they also take it in tournaments.

With this offer, you get 33% rakeback every Monday for the play from the previous week. It’s one of the best rakeback deals around and the extra cash goes towards playing more poker.

Bad Beat Jackpot

Most poker players hate bad beats, but not at CoinPoker. The Bad Beats Jackpot gets triggered whenever a very good hand gets beaten by an even better one.

Some 2.5% of the rake generated at cash tables goes towards the growth of the jackpot. When it’s triggered, the jackpot is split between everyone that is playing at the table.

A quick look at the recent history of the Bad Beat Jackpot reveals that there have been instances of five-figure payouts.

Why Isn’t There a CoinPoker No Deposit Bonus Right Now?

We’ve had some queries as to whether CoinPoker have a no deposit bonus available. Having conducted our review, we found that there wasn’t one and we weren’t remotely surprised.

No deposit bonus deals are very rare these days. They are expensive for betting sites and due to the fact that the size of the bonuses are small, they also tend to be unpopular with bettors.

For the uninitiated, this type of promotion saw users receive a bonus upon signing up with a betting site, without the need to make any sort of deposit.

They seem to be a thing of the past and we don’t expect to be seeing a CoinPoker no deposit bonus at any point in the future.

Gambling Options Available to You

As the name suggests, Coin Poker started out as a dedicated online poker platform and the offering in that area, is comprehensive.

CoinPoker have added a sportsbook and casino to the mix. In the following sections, we’re going to fully explore all three of these betting products, as part of our CoinPoker review.

CoinPoker Sportsbook Review

We found 27 different sports covered at CoinPoker’s sportsbook. That’s a good number. There’s certainly betting sites that features more sports, but there’s also ones out there with a lot less.

Overall, it was a good mix of the most popular sports and some niche ones that surprised us. It’s time to take a deep dive into the CoinPoker crypto sportsbook and see how they deliver.

Coverage of Major Leagues

For US bettors, the most important betting markets at a sportsbook are those concerning the major leagues. Here’s how they fare with their coverage of the top US sports.

NFLNBAMLBNHL

We found that you could bet on all the scheduled NFL games over a two week period at CoinPoker. Each game has over 80 different bets available.

There were lots of alternate spreads and totals, along with quarters and halves betting, but the lack of prop bets would be an issue for many NFL bettors.

There were a good range of futures for the NFL, on which you could bet on divisional, conference and Super Bowl winners, along with various player awards.

College football fans are well catered for with NCAA games, while you can also bet on the CFL north of the border.

We conducted our CoinPoker review a couple of weeks before the NBA season started. There was betting available on the first few games, but with a limited number of lines.

Yet the futures markets provides a hint towards the depth of coverage that you might expect, once the season start. We found a huge variety of futures relating to teams and individual players.

There were also other leagues covered, such as the WNBA and various European competitions, where games had around 500 different betting options. However, once again there were no props.

MLB games at CoinPoker also lack prop options. One the day of a game, we found just a handful of lines available, which were mainly comprised of run line and total markets.

Baseball just doesn’t seem to be a sport that CoinPoker takes all that seriously. There were no many futures available when compared the NFL or NBA, while there were also no international competitions covered from across the world.

Hockey fans will be relieved to find out that the NHL is treated with more respect than MLB. Just before the season started, we found that games had more lines available and were generally well-covered.

However, like the other top US sports, the absence of props was noticeable. There were plenty of futures, with betting available on Stanley Cup, divisional and conference winners, along with a number of markets based around team and player achievements.

Outside of the US, we were impressed with the amount of competitions covered, which includes the QMJHL from Canada and various European leagues.

Coverage of International Sports

CoinPoker is a company with an international outlook, that doesn’t limit itself to attracting an American player base. Let’s take a look at how they cover the most popular sports across the planet.

SoccerTennisBoxing & MMAGolfOther Sports

When compared with the coverage of US sports, you can see that CoinPoker are more interested in courting global appeal when you look at their soccer betting section. The number of lines available for big games was huge and yes, there were props aplenty.

The range of competitions covered from across the globe was also bewildering. Basically, no matter how small and obscure the country, CoinPoker would seem to have their league covered. Soccer fans will be more than satisfied.

Tennis is another sport at CoinPoker where we found ourselves impressed with the range of competitions covered. We found ATP, WTA, Challenger and ITF events to bet on, which included singles and doubles matches.

In terms of the depth of coverage of matches, it depends on how big the match in question is. We saw some with 40 betting options and others with 120, which was true for both pre-event and live betting.

We were pleased to see Grand Slam futures markets available, months before they were due to take place.

The boxing betting section is well stocked with a lot of fights. We found that it didn’t always include betting on every bout on the undercard, but the main events and support were all covered.

The amounts of markets were minimal, except for the odd exceptional fight between two superstars. MMA can be found in the Martial Arts section.

There’s the PFL, One Championship and of course, the UFC to bet on. For all of the MMA fights available, we only found moneyline odds, with no other markets and there wasn’t as many fights covered as was the case with boxing.

When we checked in on the golf betting section, we were surprised to find that there were no markets for any of the tournaments that were taking place later that week.

It was the start of the week and there were still a few days before they started, but most other betting sites we checked, had them covered. There were futures available for all of the following year’s majors and the next Ryder Cup.

When we see how CoinPoker covers another solo sport like tennis, we have faith that they would do a decent job with golf tournaments, but it’s hard to tell without being able to check the relevant markets.

As we stated earlier, CoinPoker provides betting markets for a lot of sports. Aside from the ones that we have gone into detail about, there were other big sports covered such as cricket, darts, Formula 1, rugby and snooker, which are very popular with bettors.

We also found plenty of more niche sports covered. These include biathlon, futsal, kabaddi, table tennis and water polo.

In terms of noticeable absences, the lack of any horse racing betting was a big surprise and is something that CoinPoker really need to address.

Esports at CoinPoker

We found a lot of Esports events to bet on at CoinPoker. They included events based around games such as Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and League of Legends.

These events had good market depth, with moneyline, totals, spreads, maps and props available. If we had any criticisms, it would be twofold.

Even many of the newest sportsbooks offer live streaming of Esports, which isn’t available here and there is perhaps a case for better categorization to make events easier to find.

CoinPoker Odds, Live Betting & Bet Types

We found the betting odds at CoinPoker to be generally competitive, especially when it came to sports which they specialize in, such as soccer. This is true for prices before the event starts and when turned live.

The live betting section is easy to navigate around, with helpful tabs dividing the various sports. We found a good range of lines which included moneyline, spreads and totals.

As mentioned earlier in this CoinPoker review, we would have liked to have seen more props, especially for the popular US sports, where props are so prominent.

CoinPoker Sports Betting Features

CoinPoker has two of the most important features that any sportsbook can have. There is a Bet Builder tab on relevant events, which allows you to easily create same-game parlays.

There is also the availability of a cash out function, which means that you can receive offers to take an early profit on your bet. In our opinion, these are the most important features available at sportsbooks, so it’s great that CoinPoker have them in place.

Another feature we liked is the ability to favorite your preferred sports, so that they appear at the top of the menu, making them easy to find.

CoinPoker Casino Review

CoinPoker claim to have over 400 casino games. That’s an underwhelming number for online casino, but the good new is that there is actually a lot more than 400.

The amount of games runs into four figures. There’s slots, bingo and a live casino, from developers such as Evolution Gaming, NetEnt and Pragmatic Play. Let’s take a look at what the casino at CoinPoker has to offer.

Table Games

The live casino features games from Bombay Live, Evolution and Pragmatic Play. You can find classic table games such as baccarat, blackjack, craps, poker and roulette. Then there are various novelty games and game shows such as Deal or no Deal.

There’s a great choice of live casino tables and because of that fact, we’d liked to have seen a filtering system or categories within the live table section. Otherwise, we can’t fault the offering here, which is all presented with top quality video and features engaging hosts.

Slots

During our CoinPoker review, we enjoyed the broad range of slots, which come from not just the main software developers that you’d expect, but also plenty of smaller, independent companies.

Again, we’d have liked to have seen some more categorization rather than a long list of mixed games, but there are some tabs separating the crash games, jackpot games and table games.

You’ll also find virtual sports and bingo games at the CoinPoker casino. There’s a great range of slots here at CoinPoker, many of which have huge progressive jackpot payouts.

Casino Features

We’ve talked about how this casino would benefit from more categorization of their library. There is however, a very useful search function and the ability to filter the games by software provider.

There is also a favorite tab to which you can add your favorite games and a tab showing your recently played games. We expect that more features will be added over time.

CoinPoker Poker Review

It almost goes without saying that poker is the main offering at this betting app. CoinPoker bills itself as the biggest of all the world’s crypto poker sites and in this section we’re going to have an in-depth look at what they have to offer players.

Click on the cash games tab and you’ll find dozens of no-limit Texas hold’em on 6-max and 4-max cash game tables. Stakes start really low, so whatever your skill level or budget, there will be real money games that are right for you.

Yet the stakes can also get very high, with CoinPoker holding the record of the largest online poker pot at $7,750,000. While the action can get hot, we generally found that the competition level was pretty soft, especially for lower stakes games.

There’s also plenty of Omaha and 5-card Omaha games available with pot limits, should they be your favorite poker games. While there’s not quite as many as is the case for hold’em, there’s more than enough variety.

CoinPoker Tournaments

Online poker players at CoinPoker also get to enjoy plenty of daily tournaments and exclusive poker series. Buy-ins for poker tournaments range from free to four-figures for high-rollers.

CoinPoker’s mix includes signature tournaments, freerolls, satellites, rebuy and add-on tournaments, turbo and hyper tournaments, multi-table tournaments and progressive knockouts.

Perhaps the biggest player events is CSOP, which stands for the Crypto Series of Online Poker. It is certain one of CoinPoker’s flagship events and features huge prize pools for tournament players.

CoinPoker Rakeback

The rate of rakeback at CoinPoker differs, depending on what you play. The lowest rake is on cash tables and for Cosmic Spins games. They are both set at 5%.

For MTT tournaments it is 8%. With a lower limit of $0.03 and upper limit of $25, CoinPoker players enjoy some of the lowest rakes that can be found at poker sites.

CoinPoker App Review

When we review betting sites here at Top Offshore Sportsbooks, it’s generally a question of whether a brand has a separate app, or just relies on a website. At CoinPoker, the app is king.

Due to the need for the stability that a mobile application can bring for poker players, you can download this, but there are both CoinPoker mobile and desktop options.

It’s available for Windows, iOS and Android; so, whatever device you use, CoinPoker will have you covered.

CoinPoker Mobile Usability vs Desktop Usability

With CoinPoker available to use on a computer or mobile, it begs the question of how well it works on each type of device? The desktop app works perfectly.

It’s very stable and is easy to navigate around, with quick loading times for all of the sections. Whether you’re playing poker, casino or betting on sports, it’s a breeze.

For mobile devices, the CoinPoker app also works well. Obviously it’s a smaller screen, which can make things a little more complicated, but for the most part we didn’t have any issues.

You can play poker in landscape or in portrait view. The only thing that the desktop version lacks  is that the chat function is hidden away in the menu.

Payout Times & Payment Methods

CoinPoker is a betting site that only uses cryptocurrency as a payment method, with there being no facility for traditional fiat methods such as debit cards or wire transfers. CoinPoker have their own crypto token – CHP.

Let’s take a look at the different cryptocurrencies available, which includes information on deposit and withdrawal fees.

CoinPoker Reviews of Customer Service

There are a variety of ways to get in touch with the customer service team at CoinPoker. The website has a help section with some FAQs, contact form and an email address.

You can also access a content form by clicking on the envelope sign when using the app. In addition, there are a number of social media channels through which you can pose questions.

The CoinPoker communities within Reddit and Telegram can be particularly useful. There doesn’t as yet seem to be a way to contact the customer service team via phone and there is also no live chat.

While we are impressed with the response times for emails and contact form queries, it would be good to be able to get the sort of instantaneous responses that you can only get when talking to someone over the phone, or through a live chat facility.

Responsible Gambling

A topic that is as important as any in this CoinPoker review is responsible gambling. There is a page devoted to responsible gambling on the CoinPoker website, which is very thorough.

Information regarding underage gambling, how to set betting controls, taking breaks and self-excluding from CoinPoker, is also present.

There was also information on ways to identify problem gambling, tips for safer poker play and a list of organizations that can help, such as Gamblers Anonymous.

CoinPoker Review – The Final Verdict

CoinPoker has long been one of the top online poker sites. Poker players are served up a wide menu of cash games and exclusive CoinPoker tournaments, in a stable environment, with lots of regular promos available.

The addition of a sportsbook and casino sees them move towards becoming an all-rounder. They have made confident strides with both products, though we have highlighted areas in which they could improve.

If they are going to be attracting sports bettors and casino players, then they may have to bring in a variety of different welcome offers using CoinPoker promo codes, as the current one is really just for poker.

For now, CoinPoker is a great choice for poker enthusiasts who also want to bet on sports and have some fun in a casino.
